How it all started? 

  In 2019, having worked for 14 plus years at a big tire corporation who, year over year, led the tire industry. I felt the need to know if there was more to my story than just being another guy stuck in the rat race.

  Each day, I clocked in and out. It reminded me of how unhappy I was. I needed to make a change. Mind you, my wife and 2 little ones depended on me. I eventually took the risk. I went back to school. Hoping to find interest in new careers. All while working 2 to 3 jobs just to keep bills paid and food on the table.

 Yet, I continued to fail.

  I began to feel like the corporate world was indeed my path. 

  Until one day, I learned how to build a fence and started up a small fence company. I had seen how much money one could make and forgot all about my search for happiness.

  Money became my greed.

  All from scratch I designed the logo, t-shirts and hats just to make it look legit, but because of the lack of experience in the fence world. 

  It too had failed miserably.

  During that time, I learned how to create graphic designs. My creativity flourished. The excitement creating several different designs made me feel whole again. I enjoyed it.

   I eventually came across the idea to create a clothing brand revolved around my passion for the Car scene.

  Doing what I already love …..

That’s when BUILT PROJECT was born!

Why we do it?

   

   We're just your average husband & wife duo, with the help & support from our awesome friends & family!

 Our intentions are to bring closer the project car community by creating funny, fashionable, clothing everyone can relate to.

  Some say, it’s hard to find relatable clothing that looks and feels great to wear.

   So we’ve made it our mission to create & design such a brand not just exclusive to any car/truck style but rather a specific individual, “The Project Car Guy & Gal”.

  We plan to not only inspire & connect with car guys & gals, like yourself, but also spark conversations through each shirt, hat, hoodie & accessory.

  The best part.... is you get to wear it anywhere. From the grocery store….to even date nights!
